Jerry Wiles
Grand Master of the International Christian Marital Arts Association
7th Degree Black Belt

Jerry is a Certified Master Instructor, and President & Founder of the International Christian Martial Arts Association. Master Wiles is a certified Master Instructor with the International Tang Soo Do Association, the Korean Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, and a member of the Masters Martial Arts Union in Seoul, Korea. He is the Senior Master Instructor of Tri-Star Karate Schools of South Florida, and is the Director of the Champions for Christ Karate / Drama Demo Team. Master Wiles holds 12 world records breaking boards and bricks as well as receiving numerous awards from America and Korea, including the Kukiwan.

In 1998, Master Wiles was inducted into the World Karate Union Black Belt Hall of Fame, and in 2010 he was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame and promoted to Grand Master of the ICMA.

Joe McVeigh
4th Degree Black Belt

A certified Tang Soo Do Master Instructor with the ICMA, Master McVeigh teaches the Adult classes at Tri-Star Karate. Before transferring to Tri-Star Karate at 2nd Dan, he was with the Soo Bahk Do, Moo Duk Kwan and has been in Tang Soo Do for over 20 years. Master McVeigh is a retired Banker, and now teaches in a local middle school part time.

Patricia Wolfe
4th Degree Black Belt

A certified Master Instructor with the ICMA, Master Wolfe teaches in the Family Class, the Ladies Self-Defense class, and weekend Kid's Classes. Master Wolfe serves on the ICMA Board of Directors, the "Champions for Christ" demo team, and is a local Bank Assistant Branch Manager during the day time.

Matthew Wiles
3rd Degree Black Belt

An ICMA certified Instructor with Tri-Star Karate, Matt teaches in the Jr. Black Belt Class with his dad, and in the Kid's Class on the weekends. The son of Grand Master Wiles, he is a high school student with four National Grand Champion Titles under his belt. Matt has been on the "Champions for Christ" Demo Team since he was 5 years old.

Joe Sverak
3rd Degree Black Belt

An ICMA certified Instructor with Tri-Star Karate, Joe began his martial arts in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan. Mr. Sverak teaches in the Family and Adult classes at Tri-Star and specializes in teaching 'Special Needs' students. During the day, Joe is a Broward County Micro Technologist. In 2007 Joe Sverak won the Adult Male Grand Champion title at the ICMA National Champions.

Andrew Washburn
3rd Degree Black Belt

An ICMA certified Instructor with Tri-Star Karate, Andrew teaches in the Adult Class and is the acrobatic/gymnastics coach and choreographer for the "Champions for Christ" demo team. In 2008, he won the Adult Male Grand Champion title at the ICMA National Championship Tournament, and in the daytime he works as a web designer for a national corporation.

The yougest daughter of Grand Master Wiles, Alyssa is currently participating in our 'Junior Instructor' Apprentice program. As an Instructor trainee, she assists in classes and is learning to teach under the supervision of a Certified Master Instructor.
